Responsibilities
- The Manager acts as the on-shift operational commander, with responsibility for:
- Leading real-time operational decision-making and incident command
- Coordinating across multiple domains including:
- Security Operations (SOC)
- Network Operations (NOC)
- Infrastructure
- Physical Security
- Declaring and escalating Major Incidents (MI)
- Maintaining the single operational picture across all services
- Leading integrated incident response efforts
- Acting as the primary escalation point during live events
- Holding authority for critical operational decisions
- The Analyst serves as the operational coordination backbone, supporting by:
- Monitoring systems to maintain real-time situational awareness
- Conducting initial triage and reducing operational noise
- Maintaining dashboards, logs, and command environment readiness
