We're looking for an experienced Blue Yonder Discrete Consultant to join a global logistics company on a contract basis (6 months initially). The role focuses on configuration and continuous improvement across Blue Yonder Discrete solutions, optimising system performance, resolving issues and delivering enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Blue Yonder Discrete solutions across both Front End and Back End environments.
- Develop and modify SQL queries, MOCA commands, triggers and system configurations.
- Analyse trace files to diagnose issues and identify root causes.
- Manage incidents, troubleshoot application issues and deliver timely resolutions.
- Gather business requirements, facilitate process mapping and translate needs into effective system solutions.
- Deliver configuration changes, system enhancements and ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Support testing activities, including system, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with business users to ensure solutions meet operational requirements and best practice.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience supporting and configuring Blue Yonder Discrete solutions.
- Strong SQL and MOCA development skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining triggers, commands and system configurations.
- Expertise in both Back End and Front End configuration and system enhancements.
- Experience producing and modifying ad-hoc reports.
- A solid understanding of requirements gathering, process mapping and testing methodologies.
- Experience with incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- The ability to analyse trace files and resolve complex technical issues.
