Backend Developer

Synapri are partnering a luxury property and leisure company who are looking for a Backend Developer to join on a full time basis. The role will primarily focus on the development, enhancement, and support of a range of different products while having the opportunity to work within a smaller IT function with full autonomy across the backend suite.\\n\\nThe role requires proven and demonstrable experience of delivering sizeable .NET applications to production. Extensive knowledge of both .NET and C# are also essential to ensure continued development of solutions and products for all brands across the client’s group.

Please see below for more information!\\n\\nSalary: £80,000-£90,000\\nLocation: 5 days onsite in Central London\\n\\nWhat you’ll be doing:\\n\\n * Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using .NET and C#\\n\\n * Providing solutions for a range of web technologies such as Next.js and React.js and Native App technologies including iOS and Android\\n\\n * Contributing to system architecture discussions and solution design\\n\\n * Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices\\n\\n * Collaborating with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver robust solutions\\n\\n * Optimising performance and ensuring security across applications\\n\\nWhat we’re looking for:\\n\\n * Strong commercial experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and C# including LINQ, JSON and Inversion of Control\\n\\n * Solid understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL desirable)\\n\\n * Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)\\n\\n * Good knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, clean architecture, microservices)\\n\\n * Must have a solid understanding on the fundamentals of Event-Driven Architecture, including the roles of APIs, Webhooks and Integration Platforms such as Zapier and make.it\\n\\n * Understanding of the principles behind Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and its use in CI/CD Pipeline based deployment.\\n\\n * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment\\n\\nIf this sounds like you then please apply now for immediate consideration and to find out more!\\n\\n(Please note that this role cannot provide sponsorship)
