Your Role

With our open position, you will get a great opportunity to gain exposure to a broad customer portfolio and complex regulatory topics within a global organisation. You will have the chance to further develop your expertise across UK, EU, and international regulatory frameworks while working with leading food manufacturers. You will join an experienced and collaborative UK Regulatory team, working across food, flavour and beverage categories, where knowledge‑sharing, mutual support and cross‑functional partnership are central to how we deliver value to the business and our customers. The position can be performed remotely and offers flexibility in location. Placement is possible in countries such as the UK, France, Germany, or Spain.

You prepare and manage customer‑specific documentation as well as standard regulatory documents (e.g. MSDS) with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. Regulatory enquiries from internal stakeholders and external customers are handled professionally, providing clear guidance and consultation. You ensure that product changes are reviewed and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements and standards. Staying up to date with regulatory developments, you proactively safeguard and support business compliance. In close collaboration with Sales, you provide regulatory expertise, support customer requirements, and contribute to trainings and customer interactions. You identify and drive improvements in regulatory systems, processes, and portfolio harmonisation initiatives. You support audits, certifications, and cross‑functional activities (e.g. food safety, EHS, complaint management) while ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

You ideally hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Professional experience in food or flavour regulatory affairs (minimum 2 years) is preferred. A solid understanding of food industry regulations, customer requirements, and market dynamics for ingredients and flavourings is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) enable effective stakeholder interaction. You are proficient in MS Office applications; experience with SAP is considered an advantage. Analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving skills support decision‑making and prioritization. A proactive mindset combined with a high level of personal accountability ensures reliable performance. You are comfortable working in an international environment and collaborating across functions and regions.
