About us @Symphony Secure. Connected. Intelligent. Symphony is an AI-powered communication and technology company fueled by interconnected platforms: messaging, voice, directory and analytics. Our end-to-end encrypted technologies enable over 1,400 institutions to accelerate AI impact, prioritize data security, navigate complex regulatory compliance and optimize business interactions.

Role Description We are seeking a high-energy, relentless, and proven Business Development Senior Specialist to drive revenue growth for our core Messaging Solutions. Based in London, your primary mandate will be to hunt for new logos and aggressively expand our footprint within historically under-penetrated accounts. This is a pure growth role for a sophisticated sales professional who thrives on the thrill of the chase, possesses deep domain expertise, and knows how to navigate complex, enterprise-level sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Hunting & Logo Acquisition
    • Own and execute a strategic territory plan to identify, qualify, and close high-value new logos across the UK and Europe.
    • Run the entire sales cycle from cold outreach and initial discovery to technical demonstration, negotiation, and contract execution.
    • Articulate the complex security, compliance, and workflow value propositions of Symphony’s messaging platform to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Account Penetration & Expansion
    • Identify existing, under-penetrated accounts and strategically map out divisions, subsidiaries, or regions to scale them into large-scale, enterprise agreements.
    • Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure initial deployments are leveraged for massive cross-departmental expansion.
  • Pipeline & Ecosystem Management
    • Maintain a highly accurate and active sales pipeline within CRM, consistently forecasting monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
    • Attend key industry events and build a strong network of advocates and partners to drive inbound and referral pipelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience & Skills
    • 6+ years of Enterprise Software/SaaS sales experience, with a documented track record of carrying and exceeding an individual quota (ideally £1M+ ARR).
    • A True Hunter Mindset: A proven history of securing new business logos from scratch, rather than managing established, mature accounts.
    • Complex Deal Navigation: Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving IT, InfoSec, Compliance, and Business Procurement.
    • Superb Command: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, with the gravitas to influence C-level executives.

Preferred

  • Vertical Expertise
    • Deep, existing relationships and experience selling technology solutions directly into the Wealth Management and/or Insurance sectors.
    • Understanding of financial compliance regulations (e.g., MiFID II, FCA guidelines) regarding communications and data storage.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: £100,000 - 120,000 base salary per year.
  • Sales Commission Plan.

Benefits And Perks

  • Regional specific competitive benefits.
  • Build your own Benefits (BYOB) perk.
  • Local events, team building, and development opportunities.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
