This varied role combines both telephone and administrative duties and is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service in a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

About the Role:

Main duties of the job:

This role requires an individual who can communicate with patients in a professional, calm and compassionate manner, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a busy administrative environment. You will play a key role in supporting patients to access the most appropriate service or healthcare professional, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and sensitively. The role also involves undertaking a wide range of administrative duties in line with established procedures, protocols and timescales.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise their workload effectively, and comfortable managing competing demands while working collaboratively as part of a busy team. Accuracy, reliability and excellent time-management skills are essential. You will also be confident in identifying and escalating any concerns relating to quality, patient safety, risk or safeguarding to the appropriate manager or clinician as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Strong IT skills are required, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Word. The ability to learn and use practice-based clinical systems will also be important.
