Symphony are recruiting for a committed and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic, patient-centred teams at Symphony North (Burnham on Sea, Berrow and Highbridge Medical Centres) and Burnham on Sea War Memorial Hospital (MIU) in Somerset. You’ll be a confident, able to independently support and manage patients, while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient focused care. We have 66 hours vacant – so full‑time, part‑time and job share opportunities will be considered – please state your preference in your application.
Responsibilities- Assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care, working under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols.
- Work within the Minor Injuries Unit, supporting the Emergency Care Practitioner and Primary Care Practitioner in assessing and managing patients presenting with minor injuries and urgent primary care needs.
- Assist with clinical observations, wound care, patient preparation and general support to ensure safe, effective and timely patient care in accordance with practice protocols and scope of practice.
- 66 hours vacant – full‑time, part‑time and job share opportunities considered.
- Salary: £12.71 to £12.95 per hour – starting salary will be offered based on previous experience.
