Symphony are recruiting for a committed and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic, patient-centred teams at Symphony North (Burnham on Sea, Berrow and Highbridge Medical Centres) and Burnham on Sea War Memorial Hospital (MIU) in Somerset. The post-holder will work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, assisting the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
The post-holder will also work within the Minor Injuries Unit, supporting the Emergency Care Practitioner and Primary Care Practitioner in the assessment and management of patients presenting with minor injuries and urgent primary care needs. The Healthcare Assistant will assist with clinical observations, wound care, patient preparation and general support to ensure safe, effective and timely patient care in accordance with practice protocols and scope of practice.
You’ll be a confident, able to independently support and manage patients, while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient focused care.
