Healthcare Assistant - Bruton Surgery

Symphony Healthcare Services are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team at Bruton Surgery, a small country practice within Symphony Healthcare. This is a varied role supporting the clinical team with phlebotomy, health checks, ECGs and other HCA duties according to skills and experience. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, organised and committed to providing excellent patient care.,

• New patient health checks BMI, Urinalysis
• ECG recording
• INR monitoring using Coagucheck and INR Star
• To undertake Doppler testing
• Blood Pressure Monitoring following practice hypertension guidelines, issue HBPM in accordance with practice policy
• Phlebotomy including perform annual blood tests, BP, BMI, ACR as requested for patients with chronic diseases
• Urinalysis MSU, ACR in accordance with practice policy
• Wound Care suture removal in accordance with practice policy, following training
• Weight Management
• Chaperoning duties
• Previous healthcare experience is desirable, with training available to support development in the role.

This vacancy is a part time permanent contract, offering 21 hours per week. The pay rate for this role is £13.50 per hour.
