A vacancy has arisen within the Solutions Team for a Trainee Business Account Manager in the Manchester area. There will also be some travel across the UK and occasional requirements for overnight stays. In return, you will receive a competitive salary.

They are currently seeking the very best people to further strengthen their position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success.
The Trainee Business Account Manager role: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing business through their existing customer base of new build clients in the area by developing relationships with key customers. The key responsibilities will include:
- Actively supporting the account managers to understand and learn the role of an Account Manager, with a view to taking on customer accounts following the initial induction period.
- Building relationships with key customer contacts.
- Servicing and maintaining a small number of existing accounts to a high standard.
- Managing and controlling call offs, preparing quotations, amendments, managing debt and customer expectations.
- Proactive management of delivery dates, extras and variations.
- Achieving turnover growth within existing accounts.
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the industry’s customer base and competitors.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- A full UK driving licence as you will be required to travel within the region and to other parts of the UK as required.
- CSCS Card, if not a current holder, then this must be achieved within the first 4 weeks of employment.
You must also be:
- Able to manage your own diary and time efficiently and effectively.
- Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels from site operative to Director.
- Willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
- Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines.
- Able to handle multiple projects positively.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Professionally presentable at all times.
