- A vacancy has arisen within the Transport department for a
Transport Administrator , working alongside the existing members of the Transport team. You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis , and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

They supply leading housebuilders such as Barratt and Taylor Wimpey, as well as developers of inner city high rise projects and social housing providers where a diverse product range and outstanding service sets our client apart.

The Transport Administrator role
This position will suit a person with administration skills with an ambition to move on in a transport environment.
- The key responsibilities of their Transport Administrator will include:
- Collate drivers’ hours both electronically (Tachomaster) and manually to control drivers hours and maintain compliance with WTD
- Managing and monitoring POD’s and scanner issuers gathering in signed paperwork, liaising where required with the IT department.
Taking calls from the fleet of drivers with issues downloading and scanning their loads resolving issues and escalating as needed.
- Filing and checking in all vehicle defects to make sure all are accounted for.
- Inputting monthly fuel figures and MPG, ordering and controlling all fuel cards.
- Updating bespoke FORS software with all PCN’s and fuel usage.
- Dealing with all PCN’s and recharge to drivers as required or appealing them where parking has been paid.
- Downloading and inputting weekly vehicle mileage from Tachomaster into excel
- Managing and ordering all departments uniform requirements.
- Other general office duties will be required assisting the transport manager day to day.
- In order to succeed in this Transport Administrator role, you must have:
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- An ambition to progress with the transport function
You will be
- Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Able to manage your own work time to achieve timed daily duties.
- Able to work within a small team and on your own initiative.
