Symonds & Sampson LLP is looking for a full-time Commercial Property and Block Manager to assist in the management of a growing mixed portfolio of property. The portfolio is diverse, comprising small estates, commercial properties and blocks of apartments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and confident individual, to join the friendly team of eight in our department based in Poundbury, Dorset. Having a flexible attitude to work is required, as the business is experiencing growth. The ideal candidate will have some property management experience and enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment. You must be willing to be flexible and keen to acquire knowledge and skills. Training will be provided, and there are good career prospects for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Property inspection
- Landlord and tenant liaison
- Maintenance and repair contract management
- Management of utilities and service
- Budgeting and cost planning
- Service charge and administration
- Management Company administration
- Good level of customer service skills - verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Problem solving
- Self-motivation and the ability to work within a team
- High level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- A minimum of one year's experience in property/property management is required
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages
- Experience of data management systems is expected
- A highly competitive salary dependent on relevant experience
