Senior Project Manager required on a permanent basis for a high-growth wealth management firm, based flexibly from their Swindon HQ. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced change professional to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will define delivery strategy, establish governance, KPIs and roadmaps, and take full ownership of budgets, RAID, dependencies and delivery plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with measurable business value. Operating within a lean, high-performing Enterprise Change function, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll lead complex cross-functional initiatives, remove obstacles, challenge where appropriate and maintain momentum across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a deliberately broad leadership role rather than one tied to a single project. Depending on business priorities, you could lead a high-profile project end-to-end, take ownership of a major workstream within a larger transformation programme while leading a team of Project Managers, or oversee a portfolio of operational and regulatory change initiatives. The portfolio will continue to evolve, making adaptability, commercial awareness and strong delivery credentials essential.

Alongside delivery, you'll play a key role in developing the Enterprise Change capability. You'll coach and mentor Project Managers, lead Change Practice initiatives, embed best practice, enhance delivery standards and help shape the future direction of the function.

To be considered for this position applicants must have the following:

  • Financial Services background (Wealth Management advantageous)
  • Proven delivery of complex operational and/or regulatory transformation across multiple business functions
  • Experience leading projects and major workstreams within enterprise-wide change programmes
  • Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies and change frameworks
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, evolving organisations with lean delivery teams
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including Executive-level engagement
  • Experience coaching and developing Project Managers
  • Ability to challenge constructively, make decisions and drive delivery through ambiguity
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, risks and delivery plans
  • Track record of improving delivery capability, governance and ways of working
  • Resilient, adaptable and relentlessly delivery-focused

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Senior Project Manager looking to move beyond traditional project delivery into a highly visible leadership role. You'll work across a varied portfolio of strategic change, influence senior decision-making, develop delivery capability and help shape how change is delivered across the organisation.

Success in this role will come from your ability to switch seamlessly between strategic leadership and hands-on execution, build credibility with stakeholders, and consistently deliver meaningful business outcomes in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

This is a permanent role offering a salary of £75,000–£84,000, plus a 15% on-target bonus and an excellent benefits package.
