My client is entering a significant growth phase and is seeking a delivery-focused Programme Manager to lead high-impact, strategic programmes aligned to their value creation plan.
You will take full ownership of complex, cross-functional programmes, driving end-to-end delivery from mobilisation through to benefits realisation. This includes defining clear objectives, governance, KPIs and delivery roadmaps, while proactively managing budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and RAID.
Alongside delivery, you will lead and develop large cross-functional teams and Project Managers, creating a high-performance, collaborative environment. You will manage conflict constructively, drive accountability, and embed strong communication and knowledge sharing practices.
To be considered for this position applicants must have the following:
- Significant Programme Manager experience
- Financial Services background (Wealth Management a plus)
- Proven delivery of complex, multi-stream programmes in fast-paced, Agile environments
- Strong ability to operate in ambiguity and manage large programme budgets
- Project management qualification (APM, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile etc)
- Deep understanding of programme lifecycles, change frameworks and delivery methodologies
- Experience prioritising change and managing resources at scale
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead large cross-functional teams
- Confident managing risk, budgets and delivery plans
- Resilient, organised and delivery-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused, career motivated Programme Manager with a strong cross-functional grip to join a business entering an exciting growth phase, driving real value and delivering meaningful change.
Acting as the senior delivery lead across business, product and technology, you will remove blockers, maintain momentum and ensure Exec stakeholders remain aligned and informed. You will also operate at a portfolio level, managing interdependencies across programmes, supporting sequencing and prioritisation, and working closely with peer Programme Directors to enable effective portfolio planning.
A key part of the role will be shaping the Change & Transformation function – driving continuous improvement, enhancing tools and ways of working, and contributing to a high-performing, inclusive and delivery-focused culture.
This is a permanent role, based in Swindon (3 days / week on-site), offering a salary between £75,000 – 84,000 + 15% on target bonus + excellent benefits package.
