A leading wealth management firm is seeking experienced Programme Managers to join on a permanent basis, supporting a significant growth phase and delivering against a strategic value creation plan. This is a hybrid role with 3 days / week on site in their Swindon HQ.
You will take ownership of complex, cross-functional operational transformation programmes, leading end-to-end delivery from mobilisation through to benefits realisation. These are high-impact initiatives that cut across multiple business areas and are critical to the organisation’s long-term success.
In this role, you will define clear programme objectives, governance structures, KPIs and delivery roadmaps, while leading cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for proactively managing budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and RAID, ensuring strong alignment to strategic priorities and maintaining delivery momentum through to measurable outcomes.
Alongside delivery, you will lead and develop cross-functional teams and Project Managers, creating a high-performance, collaborative environment. You will manage conflict constructively, drive accountability, and embed strong communication and knowledge sharing practices.
To be considered for this position applicants must have the following:
- Significant Programme Manager experience
- Financial Services background (Wealth Management a plus)
- Proven delivery of complex, multi-stream operational transformation programmes in fast-paced, Agile environments
- Strong ability to operate in ambiguity and manage large programme budgets
- Project management qualification (APM, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile etc)
- Deep understanding of programme lifecycles, change frameworks and delivery methodologies
- Experience prioritising change and managing resources at scale
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead large cross-functional teams
- Confident managing risk, budgets and delivery plans
- Resilient, organised and delivery-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused, career-motivated Programme Manager with strong cross-functional leadership experience to join a business entering an exciting growth phase, driving real value and delivering meaningful change.
Acting as the senior delivery lead across operational transformation, you will remove blockers, maintain momentum and ensure executive stakeholders remain aligned and informed throughout the programme lifecycle. You will also operate at a portfolio level, managing interdependencies across programmes, supporting sequencing and prioritisation, and working closely with peer Programme Directors to enable effective portfolio planning.
A key aspect of the role will involve shaping the Change & Transformation function, driving continuous improvement, enhancing tools and ways of working, and contributing to a high-performing, inclusive and delivery-focused culture.
This is a permanent role offering a salary of £75,000–£84,000, plus a 15% on-target bonus and an excellent benefits package.
