Senior Business Analyst required on a permanent basis by a leading Financial Services organisation, based flexibly from Swindon (3 days/ week onsite). This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of between £52,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus and an excellent benefits package.
You’ll act as the strategic link between business, technology, and project teams, uncovering problems, defining why they matter, and translating stakeholder needs into clear, actionable solutions that deliver measurable business value. Working across the full project lifecycle, you’ll shape solutions, influence decisions, and drive meaningful change, ensuring delivered solutions meet business goals, support governance, and enhance operational efficiency.
You’ll support business change and technology transformation initiatives end-to-end using Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban), managing evolving requirements, enabling continuous delivery, and ensuring that all processes, procedures, and training materials are updated as part of change execution.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Exposure within regulated environments
- Hands-on experience supporting Agile delivery (Scrum & Kanban) across business change and IT improvement programmes
- Strong skills in creating User Stories, functional and technical specifications, and translating business needs into actionable solutions
- Solid understanding of business process analysis, process redesign, and end-to-end process improvement
- Experience with structured analysis methodologies and project delivery frameworks
- Data analysis skills (SQL / Excel / Tableau etc)
- Proven ability to mentor and develop BAs, and oversee BA disciplines, processes, and frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Experience working on projects delivered by 3rd-party vendors
