We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver a programme of Refurbishment Works across sites predominantly in Northern England on a schedule of work across the next 12 months, with potential future extension. At any given time, you will be working across 1 or 2 projects, most of the time with 1 in delivery and 1 in Pre-Construction.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering refurbishment work on live sites; therefore, experience in a broad range of sectors could be valid including Retail, Food, Office, Residential, etc. What is essential is the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, along with excellent communication skills to liaise with the on-site Operations Manager for the existing business. You should also be able to produce accurate reports and relay these to the relevant central business operations structure (finance, leadership, etc.).
You need to hold a minimum of SMSTS or IOSH, ideally a NEBOSH, and have proven experience of leading projects in a related space for 5 years plus. You will join with a contractor supply chain in place, with a clearly defined scope, project timeline, and a leadership and project team that can give you certainty on what is needed to be delivered and when, with safety and communication as high priorities.
You will be field-based, travelling to sites in Northern England. Location is flexible for home within reason, but realistically given travel and related mileage costs, we would seek someone based in: Yorkshire, Lancashire, Manchester, North Yorkshire, Northern Midlands (Derbyshire, Staffs, North Notts, etc.).
