The Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Bookkeeper with strong, hands-on Xero experience to manage the day-to-day financial administration of the business. This is a practical bookkeeping role requiring someone who is confident using Xero on a day-to-day basis and can take ownership of routine financial processes with minimal supervision. Previous Xero experience is essential for this position. Candidates should be comfortable navigating Xero independently and using it as their primary accounting system. There is flexibility around working hours, with the position available for 30-37.5 hours per week, worked across either 4 or 5 days. The exact working pattern can be agreed with the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records within Xero
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Completing bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero
- Processing and recording payments and receipts
- Managing supplier and customer account queries
