We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering business delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK.
The Role
You'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, producing electrical designs for treatment works, pumping stations and associated infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design LV electrical systems, MCCs, VSDs and control panels.
- Produce SLDs, cable schedules, load schedules and electrical schematics.
- Complete electrical calculations and ensure compliance with BS7671.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients.
- Support projects through design, installation and commissioning.
What We're Looking For
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition (C&G 2382).
- Experience within the water, wastewater or process industries.
- AutoCAD 2D and Trimble (Amtech) experience.
- Strong knowledge of LV power distribution.
