We are recruiting three permanent HGV drivers for a well-established plant company. We welcome applications from Class 2 rigid and Class 1 articulated drivers. The role involves completing multidrop deliveries and collections of plant equipment while providing a safe, reliable and professional service to customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting plant equipment from customer sites
- Completing multiple drops and collections each day
- Loading, unloading and safely securing equipment
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing all necessary delivery and collection paperwork
- Complying with drivers hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations
- Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) or Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of drivers hours and transport regulations
- A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach
- Previous multidrop or plant delivery experience is desirable
