Structured/Data Cabling Engineers
Role
Our client requires a team of structured/data cabling engineers for ongoing project work. £120 - £150 Per Day
Responsibilities
It is very much a field-based role, so engineers will need to have their own car or van and be open to covering multiple sites per day around their region.
The work will consist of site visits, based on strict SLA’s from the client.
The work could consist of anything from swapping out a patch lead, re-wiring a till, to working with a construction team to replace the cabling to the external drive thru kiosk.
The customer provides a box of parts and materials, which each engineer needs to carry at all times. Any stock used needs to be reported back, so it can be replenished.
Full training is available. There are two online courses, take around 4-6 hours to complete, and a 3 day in person training session, that would be paid along with the required travel and accommodation.
This is full time, Monday – Friday.
Engineers will be paid a day rate, regardless of the number of calls assigned, but will be expected to remain available through the day to accept other calls if they are finished early etc.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence with own vehicle (car or van).
Structured/data cabling experience preferred however training will be provided for applicants with some telecoms knowledge and qualifications.
