Our client operates network POP sites globally alongside their own data centre in central London and abroad. This role is a mix of Datacentre and Field Engineering work. You should have several years’ experience with faulting, installing and commissioning the following equipment in a data centre environment to at least 2nd line support:

  • Nokia / Alcatel SDH Transmission equipment (1642 / 1660 / 1678)
  • Installing and commissioning SDH networks
  • Juniper / BTI Transmission network equipment (MX / ACX / BTI7200 / BTI 7060)
  • Installing and commissioning Ethernet network
  • Juniper / BTI / Ekinops (DWDM / CWDM)
  • Installing and commissioning CWDM & DWDM networks
  • Cisco (Switch / Router)
  • Installing & commissioning DC & AC Power systems (Rectifiers / PDU’s / ATS Switch)
