Our client operates network POP sites globally alongside their own data centre in central London and abroad. This role is a mix of Datacentre and Field Engineering work. You should have several years’ experience with faulting, installing and commissioning the following equipment in a data centre environment to at least 2nd line support:
- Nokia / Alcatel SDH Transmission equipment (1642 / 1660 / 1678)
- Installing and commissioning SDH networks
- Juniper / BTI Transmission network equipment (MX / ACX / BTI7200 / BTI 7060)
- Installing and commissioning Ethernet network
- Juniper / BTI / Ekinops (DWDM / CWDM)
- Installing and commissioning CWDM & DWDM networks
- Cisco (Switch / Router)
- Installing & commissioning DC & AC Power systems (Rectifiers / PDU’s / ATS Switch)
