Role
Our client is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer to support the design, development, and optimisation of renewable energy systems. You will work across technologies such as solar PV, wind, battery storage, and energy efficiency solutions, contributing to feasibility studies, system modelling, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyse technical requirements, produce design specifications, and support installation and commissioning activities.
- Provide input into performance modelling, sustainability reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the design and modelling of renewable energy systems
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies
- Produce system layouts, specifications, and performance reports
- Support installation, commissioning, and ongoing optimisation
- Work with contractors, planners, and regulatory bodies
- Contribute to sustainability and energy‑efficiency initiatives
Requirement
- Experience in renewable energy, energy engineering, or electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of solar PV, wind, or energy storage technologies
- Ability to analyse data and use modelling tools
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Experience with CAD or energy modelling software (desirable)
- Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Professional certifications (e.g. IET, Engineering Council) are a bonus
