About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Regional Coach (RC) leads and develops a team of Area Coaches across a defined region. You'll play a critical role in driving performance across people, guest experience, sales, and profitability—while embedding Taco Bell's culture and standards throughout the business. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on coaching, operational excellence, and delivering outstanding results across multiple restaurant locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build People Capability
    • Lead, mentor, and develop Area Coaches to elevate team and restaurant performance
    • Partner with HR and Operations to grow Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) and wider teams
    • Foster a strong coaching culture aligned with Taco Bell's core principles
    • Drive succession planning and identify high-potential talent across the region
    • Ensure effective, high-quality training programmes are implemented and continuously improved
  • Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience
    • Champion guest-first initiatives to deliver exceptional service and quality
    • Support resolution of complex customer issues and improve satisfaction metrics
    • Conduct restaurant audits and performance reviews with RGMs
    • Analyse guest feedback and implement meaningful improvements
    • Embed a culture of service excellence across all locations
  • Grow the Brand, Sales & Profit
    • Drive commercial performance through strategic action plans
    • Analyse sales, labour, and cost metrics with Area Coaches
    • Ensure effective execution of marketing and merchandising programmes
    • Support RGMs in achieving and exceeding growth targets
    • Maintain operational excellence across quality, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Brand Leadership & Execution
    • Act as a champion of Taco Bell's brand values and Live Más culture
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives with HR, Marketing, and Franchise teams
    • Facilitate quarterly performance reviews with senior leadership

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years in operations or franchise management
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing multi-site teams
  • Strong track record of driving sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • Experience delivering operational improvements in fast-paced environments
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly across the region
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and operational systems
