This role is not suitable for someone who is new to the role. The role is a part-time term time only position. You would be employed for 2 days a week. These days would need to be on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday which is when our academic science lessons take place. We are flexible to which two days these are as long as they meet the needs of the school. The full time salary for this role is £25,000. The salary for 2 days’ employment per week is calculated at 0.4 of the Full Time Salary. The hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm (TBC with the successful candidate). The Science Technician will work closely alongside our science teachers. We have two science classrooms in our school and a science prep room. You are the sole technician so would need to be able to fully support the science department with a can-do attitude and initiative. You should have a real passion for science.
