We are a long standing Family Owned group of companies based in Bradford for over 50 years specialising in the stocking & distribution of Industrial Fasteners, Fixings, Tools and associated products.
An opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a Full Time Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to add to the growing team.
Previous experience of van driving would be ideal and the successful candidate must hold a full, clean, UK driving license.
The duties will include:
- Checking, picking, packing and delivering goods to a satisfactory standard.
- Working on office administration tasks.
Requirements when operating within the Warehouse:
- Heavy lifting.
- Good attitude in the workplace.
- Attention to detail.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Good accuracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to target.
- PC literate.
Requirements of the Driver element:
- Pack and load products onto van according to company’s specifications.
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Unload goods.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
- Obtain delivery confirmations / POD’s from each customer to be filed accordingly.
