We are looking for a Management Accountant to proactively provide both financial management and business partnering support to the FS UK business. You will work closely with the FS UK management team on finance-related matters and collaborate with the wider Feilo Sylvania finance team. The role is key in ensuring the business has the financial insight needed to support decision-making and achieve its objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly, Quarterly & Annual management accounts and reporting packs to provide clear insight into business performance vs prior year and Budget.
- Ensure customer Margins are correctly understood by the Commercial team, considering fully various discount and incentives structures.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets for FS UK with input from sales and warehouse management, monitoring performance against budget.
- Prepare and be responsible for various submissions for Group Reporting.
- Budget and Forecast preparation for both P&L & Cash Flow.
- Coordinate closely with the Commercial team to ensure correct invoicing in-line with contract.
- Main contact for Auditors and preparation of Financial Statements and various Governmental returns.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with strong management accounting experience who enjoys working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders. You will bring:
- Solid management accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in a financial or management accounting role.
- Analytically minded with strong business acumen.
- Ability to work and communicate at multi-levels in a flat organisation.
- Accounting qualification desirable, though candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Strong IT and Excel skills, ideally including business intelligence or analysis tools.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
