Work directly with the Founders of a multi-million pound education startup. We have one goal: be the biggest and best provider in the United Kingdom. Highly competitive package £40k base, up to £69k year one. Full time, in person Birmingham-based office.

Real experience in building a fast-growing startup. Real ownership, not rotation. You won't shadow or observe. You'll own real projects from week one and ship them. Direct founder access. Mentored every day by founders who built a multi-six-figure MRR company from nothing. A decade of exposure, in a year.

A real path upward. This is the start of a long career at Syllabi. The ceiling is high, and it's yours to climb. A mission that actually matters. We work with 1,200+ students whose schools are letting them down. The work means something.

Who we are: Syllabi is an online GCSE prep platform for UK students in Maths, English and Science. Live group lessons, 24/7 personal tutors, workbooks, recordings, and marked assessments - all in one place. We built the whole platform from the ground up. Nobody else in UK edtech is doing this at scale, and 1,200+ students already rely on us as their main way of learning.

What you’ll do:

  • Touch every part of the build: internal tooling, platform features, automations, data systems.
  • Work across all of it, not in a single lane.
  • Ship real code from week one. No shadowing, no rotation.
  • Features and fixes that go live on the platform students and parents use every day.
  • Work directly with Adam every day. Mentored on the build, the decisions, and the thinking behind both.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK long-term. We don't sponsor visas.
  • Be on track for, or already hold, a 2:1 or above (or equivalent).
  • Be a final-year student graduating in 2026, or a graduate.
  • Be based in Birmingham or relocate at your own cost before July 27.
  • Fully in-person, no hybrid, no remote.
  • Write fluently in English. Clarity and precision matter.
  • Able to ship working code. You've built something that worked, outside of coursework, that someone else used.

The Package:

  • The Internship: Starting 27th July 2026, a 6-week paid trial in our Birmingham office, directly with the founders. Successful candidates will be offered full-time roles.
  • The Full-Time Role: Starting 7th September 2026, up to £29,000 in performance bonuses in your first year, post pension, MacBook, £500 learning budget.
