About the Role: We’re looking for a dedicated, detail‑oriented Laundry Operative to join our John Bray, Rock team. This is a hands‑on role with a strong focus on driving between properties, ensuring our laundry and housekeeping operations run smoothly across the area. You’ll play a key part in keeping every property guest‑ready — transporting laundry, delivering supplies, and supporting cleaners on‑site. You’ll work closely with our cleaning teams, resolving laundry and housekeeping issues both over the phone and face‑to‑face during property visits. You’ll need to be confident driving throughout the day, able to multitask, stay organised, and collaborate effectively to help maintain our high standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage day‑to‑day laundry operations and liaise with suppliers
- Count and check freshly laundered linen; record shortfalls or rejects
- Deliver clean linen using fleet vehicles when required
- Conduct property inspections, corrective cleaning, and special requests
- Prepare linen for weekly departures and maintain stock levels
- Manage soiled linen, keeping the area tidy before collection by suppliers
- Provide practical feedback to support departmental performance
- Promote excellent customer service to guests and owners
- Undertake any additional duties within the scope of the role as requested
