About the Role

As our Property Services & Supplier Manager at Carbis Bay Holidays, you’ll be responsible for building, developing and managing a high‑performing network of housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance suppliers to ensure our properties are consistently maintained to the highest standards. You’ll lead the local supplier team, oversee supplier performance, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver an exceptional experience for both property owners and guests. This is a hands‑on role that combines relationship management, operational leadership and quality assurance, with occasional support for property cleaning or maintenance when business needs require.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage strong relationships with housekeeping and maintenance suppliers.
  • Source, recruit, onboard and train new suppliers.
  • Lead, coach and support the local supplier team.
  • Ensure all property cleans and maintenance works are completed to the required standard.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Carry out property inspections and resolve quality issues.
  • Work with property owners to resolve maintenance and property‑related queries.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and internal systems.
  • Collaborate with the Property Services Hub and local teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency call‑out rota.
  • Provide hands‑on cleaning or maintenance support when required.
  • May also assist with cleaning or maintenance repairs on a property from time to time, in line with business requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Previous experience managing, motivating and developing a team within an office or operational environment.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence and motivate third‑party suppliers.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, delegate effectively and drive team performance.
  • IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels.

  • Knowledge of property maintenance and compliance.
  • Holiday letting or hospitality industry experience.
  • Good knowledge of the local area.
  • Business‑to‑business sales experience.
