A propos du poste : Nuchem Sciences est présentement à la recherche d’un(e) candidat(e) pour occuper un poste de Technicien(ne) en santé animale à son centre de recherche situé à Ville Saint-Laurent. L’entreprise offre une variété de services préclinique en support à l’industrie pharmaceutique et biotechnologique afin d’aider à identifier et optimiser les cibles pour la découverte et le développement de nouveaux médicaments. Le titulaire du poste travaillera avec des rongeurs sur le déroulement d’études de pharmacocinétiques, pharmacodynamiques et des études d’efficacité.

Responsabilités du poste :

  • Exécuter des techniques de base (traitements, prélèvement d'échantillons biologiques, évaluations).
  • Administrer les traitements techniques aux animaux et collecter les données de laboratoire.
  • Mettre sur pied une étude et suivre les directives des protocoles expérimentaux ainsi que des procédures normalisées.
  • Avoir un grand sens de l'éthique.
  • Apprendre et exécuter différents types de modèles de maladies chez les animaux.
  • Participer aux tâches connexes.
  • À l’occasion, être appelé à travailler le week-end ou les jours fériés, ou en dehors des heures de travail habituelles soit le matin ou en soirée.

Compétences et qualifications :

  • Baccalauréat en biologie (BSc.) ou diplôme de techniques en santé animale (DEC).
  • Expérience en manipulation de rongeurs.
  • Travaillant(e), organisé(e), responsable, avoir de l'initiative et capable de travailler en équipe.
  • Expérience avec MS Office.
  • Doit avoir un permis de conduire et accès à une voiture.
  • Expérience en technique de culture de cellules de mammifères, un atout.
  • Excellente habileté à communiquer et bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
  • Un bon niveau d’anglais écrit et verbal est nécessaire pour communiquer efficacement avec nos collaborateurs anglophones hors du Québec.
