Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team covering Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

Role Overview

The Fire & Security Engineer will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and small works on a range of fire and electronic security systems.

You will work across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
  • Respond to planned maintenance visits and reactive call-outs across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
  • Diagnose system faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant British Standards and Health & Safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
  • Identify opportunities for remedial works, upgrades or improvements
  • Participate in an on-call rota where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Fire & Security Engineer
  • Experience servicing fire alarms and electronic security systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to complete digital service reports
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • FIA or equivalent fire alarm training
  • ECS / CSCS card
  • IPAF or PASMA
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as Gent, Advanced, Hikvision, Paxton or similar
