We are looking for:
A Qualification Engineer (gn) to join our team at our Heanor site.
Key Responsibilities
Management ofshort to medium termtechnical projects (typically 6-18 months) involving composite and adhesive materials for the aerospace industry
Responsible for coordination of testing, analysis ofdataand compilation of technical reports.
Responsible for providing technicalexpertiseand support both internally and to major aerospace customers.
Demonstrate highproficiencycommunication skills within the team, to stakeholders, and end customers
You will bring:
Bachelor’s degree (BSc)in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field)
Experience in the composites or specialty polymers industry is a strong advantage
Working knowledge of base resins and reinforcement fibers
Familiarity withquality management systems(e.g.,AS9100); exposure toSPC/statistical methodsandSix Sigmais a plus
Experience withraw material processing,batch processing, and/orweb handlingis a plus
You will get:
The UK annual base salary rangereasonably expectedto be paid for this new hire is: 45.200GBPto 56.500 GPB. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on factors such as skills, experience,qualificationand internal equity and canultimately bemore or less than the posted salary rang
