Position: Part-Time Breakfast Assistant – 12 Hour Contract
Overview: We are looking for a reliable and friendly Breakfast Assistant to join our team on a part‑time 12‑hour contract. The successful candidate will help provide excellent customer service during breakfast service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving guests in a polite and professional manner
- Preparing and cooking basic breakfast dishes
- Making teas, coffees, and other hot beverages
- Setting up and clearing down the restaurant and kitchen
- Washing up and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained and reporting shortages
Requirements:
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic cooking skills and confidence preparing simple breakfast items
- Knowledge of food hygiene and Health & Safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented
Hours: Part‑time contract – 12 hours per week, consisting of two shifts per week. Flexibility preferred on working days and shifts to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays where required.
