Role Description: As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for winning new clients, managing existing customer relationships, and consistently achieving sales targets for Sydney Tech Week. You will collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales and sponsorship materials, and work closely with management to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Additionally, you will help grow and manage our sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and skills needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding our client base for Sydney Tech Week
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their continued participation and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create persuasive sales and sponsorship packages
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the event
  • Work closely with management to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Help grow and manage the sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and support
