About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Commercial Property Managers, who will each be responsible for the operational management of one complete portfolio of property within a specific channel at Sydney Markets. Our Commercial Property Managers will be crucial in managing the end-to-end tenant relationships and address the leasing needs within the portfolio, while also implementing strategies which optimise revenues per square metre.

Reporting to the Head of Property, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of your portfolio, ensuring assets are well-maintained and tenant requirements are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential to delivering high-quality outcomes across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead property strategy across a designated portfolio, identifying commercial opportunities and driving strategic initiatives in collaboration with senior leaders.

Manage tenant relationships and retention, ensuring prompt resolution of issues, coordination of maintenance works, and clear communication to maintain high tenant satisfaction.

Oversee lease administration and operations, ensuring legal compliance, managing occupancy rates, and implementing consistent space planning to maximise revenue. Work between Property and Operations to ensure tenants’ queries and needs are being addressed in an efficient and professional manner.

Utilise property management systems (e.g., Salesforce) for reporting, lease tracking, and process improvement, contributing to operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Drive stakeholder engagement by liaising with tenants, market officers, and internal teams, while representing the property team in forums and strategic discussions.

Lead special projects and reporting initiatives, maintaining tenancy schedules, monitoring lease maturity, and contributing to broader property and business objectives.

Skills & ExperienceRequired

Certificate IV in Real Estate Practiceor similar preferred

3+ years of experience in commercial property management in a similar environment.

Experience in stakeholder engagement and advisory role with a demonstrated ability to understand issues at both a broad strategic level and at a detailed operational level.

Excellent conceptual, planning, organisational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to undertake a consultative approach, exercise significant judgement, display emotional intelligence and initiative when addressing complex problems and providing advice for varied audiences.

Ability to understand and negotiate occupancy and lease agreements while remaining compliant with property laws and regulations.

Excellent networking, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
