Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative to prospect into and qualify new business in the service provider space. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the SDR will both work independently and collaborate with assigned Account Directors within an assigned geography.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing Sales and Marketing tools to research and identify new leads
  • Emailing, calling and networking on social media to reach out to prospects
  • Working with Account Managers and other team members to create and refine messaging
  • Provide additional support to customers and prospects as needed by Account Managers
  • Log all activities and conversations in CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Follow-up on marketing leads in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate business value to prospects of a very technical product
  • Adeptly utilize CRM, Social Media, Sales Engagement and other prospecting tools
  • Learn and stay up to date on industry information and company products
  • Stay current with all assigned tasks within the sales tools

Requirements:

  • Previous cold calling experience for networking products
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and requirements
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a sales team
  • Technically familiar with computer / networking software products and solutions
  • Ability to process and respond to communication from a remote environment without supervision
