About the Role
Sydney House Hotel Chelsea is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Room Attendant to support the daily operation of the housekeeping department.
The successful candidate will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.
Job Type & Hours
Full‑time contract, 16 hours per week with possibility of extra hours during holidays and busy periods.
Pay Rate
Key Responsibilities
- Clean rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Ensure all hotel windows are cleaned to the hotel’s standard.
- Carry out daily tasks and room assignments efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and restock cupboards when necessary.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to the relevant department.
- Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Maintain excellent communication with Reception and Management teams.
- Support delivering an exceptional guest experience through high cleaning standards and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel environment or similar.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Right to work in the UK.
