We've partnered with an AI-native HR platform backed by leading investors, and we're looking for a Sales Development Team Leader to own and elevate their outbound function. You'll be a player-coach leading a team of 4 SDRs — setting the standard for cold calling excellence and building the playbook from the ground up. This is a high-impact role at a 50-person company, reporting directly to senior leadership, with real influence over how they grow.
What you'll do:
- Lead, coach, and develop 4 SDRs through call reviews, 1:1s, and hands‑on deal support
- Own outbound strategy end‑to‑end: playbook, ICP targeting, and cold calling as the primary channel
- Build AI‑assisted sequences using tools like Clay, Lemlist, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Partner with AEs and RevOps for tight pipeline handoffs and strong conversion rates
- Use data and analytics to diagnose underperformance and continuously raise the bar
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years managing a BDR/SDR team — this is a hard requirement
- 5–10 years of total outbound B2B SaaS sales experience
- Genuinely strong cold caller — you can do it yourself and coach others to excel
- Comfortable carrying ~30% IC contribution alongside team management
- Experience in a high‑growth, VC‑backed B2B SaaS environment (YC background a bonus)
