Sydenham High School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, creative and innovative Maths Teacher within our popular and successful Maths department. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic classroom practitioner with proficiency in teaching Maths from KS3 to KS5, to contribute to the academic and personal development of our pupils. They will have an innovative understanding of teaching and learning, as well as high expectations of all pupils' achievements. Ideally, the successful candidate will show considerable initiative and be prepared to innovate both in the classroom and in the field. Staff are expected to be digitally literate and are encouraged to develop their personal digital skills. Experience of teaching Further Mathematics would be desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths to students from KS3 to KS5 with a focus on academic and personal development.
- Apply innovative teaching and learning approaches and maintain high expectations for all pupils' achievement.
- Demonstrate initiative and be prepared to innovate in classroom practice and across the department.
