We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our accomplished Sports Department and contribute to the continued success of sport across Sydenham & Dulwich Girls. As a Sports Coach, you will support the delivery of curriculum PE lessons and play a key role in coaching teams across both the Junior and Senior Schools, helping students to fulfil their sporting potential while contributing to a vibrant and ambitious sports programme.
The role involves officiating matches, supporting training sessions, and assisting with the organisation and delivery of fixtures, competitions, tournaments, award ceremonies and sports tours within the UK and overseas. You will also accompany teams to away fixtures and other sporting activities, including occasional Saturday commitments.
You must hold a relevant coaching qualification and have expertise in coaching one or more of the school's core sports, including football, netball, hockey, cricket, athletics and other games-based activities. Experience of coaching young people within a school or club environment is essential, along with the ability to officiate matches and support the delivery of fixtures and training sessions.
Above all, we are looking for a committed and proactive coach who will make a positive contribution to the school's sporting provision and help maintain its excellent reputation for participation and achievement in sport.
