Sydenham & Dulwich Girls is seeking an experienced SENDCo to lead SEND provision across the Junior School, supporting pupils from EYFS to Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity to shape inclusive, evidence-informed support so that every girl is able to thrive academically, socially and personally.
Working closely with pupils, parents, teachers, pastoral colleagues and external specialists, you will oversee early identification, assessment, interventions, Pupil Passports and Learning Plans, while also advising and training colleagues. You will play a key role in ensuring SEND provision is purposeful, well monitored and aligned with the school’s high standards.
The successful candidate will have QTS, strong primary or junior phase experience and either the NPQ for SENDCo or legacy NASENCO. A strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practice is essential, while Level 7 testing/access arrangements, independent school experience and insight into how neurodivergence can present in girls would be advantageous.
