This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly qualified, experienced and dynamic teaching team at Sydenham & Dulwich Girls. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Head of Economics to join our Sixth Form provision and play an instrumental role in shaping our pupils’ understanding of the modern financial and economic world. You will lead the teaching of our Key Stage 5 curriculum, delivering rigorous, engaging A Level lessons that inspire critical thinking, analytical skills and debate. Accountable to the Head of Sixth Form, you will help prepare our ambitious young women for public examinations and successful future career pathways.
Most importantly, you will be an energetic, highly organised teacher with a deep passion for Economics, who is committed to providing outstanding academic and pastoral support to our students, alongside contributing to the wider co-curricular life of the school. This is a small but thriving department, with excellent academic results. An ability to also teach Business at Key Stage 5 and Financial Education at Key Stage 4 would be preferable. Please also highlight any other subject experience.
