Credit Controller

Artis Recruitment are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our clients finance team and take responsibility for managing and recovering outstanding debts. You will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and building strong relationships with clients.

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

1. Chasing outstanding invoices via phone, email, and letter.
2. Managing and reducing aged debt to meet collection targets.
3. Allocating payments and reconciling accounts.
4. Handling customer queries and disputes efficiently.
5. Producing reports on debtor balances and cash flow.
6. Liaising with internal teams to resolve payment issues.

Credit Controller Experience:

1. Previous experience in credit control or a similar role.
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
6. Knowledge of credit risk and collections processes.
