YOUR ROLE
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be the face of SWOZI in your region. Acting as a trusted advisor and machinery expert, you will guide customers from initial contact through live on pitch demonstrations, closing sales, and delivering onboarding training alongside routine service support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales & Territory Growth: Actively acquire new clients, generate leads, and develop your sales region.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling live on-site demonstrations of our line-marking robots.
- Customer Onboarding: Train users for smooth implementation and provide first-level technical support.
- Maintenance & Field Service: Conduct routine servicing, on site troubleshooting, and minor robot repairs.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting customer relationships through proactive communication.
YOUR PROFILE
- Technical & Industry Background: Practical experience as a groundsman, greenkeeper, or in sports turf management, combined with a hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Sales-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to present persuasively and close deals.
- Customer-Centric: Friendly, reliable, and committed to high customer satisfaction.
- Mobility & Independence: Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within your territory and work autonomously.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect easily with grounds teams, contractors, and club managers.
