This is a part-time remote role for a Religious Studies Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering focused, engaging online lessons for a Year 11 student who is specifically looking for exam-practice support. Lessons should help the student strengthen exam technique, improve written responses, build confidence with key content, and prepare effectively for GCSE Religious Studies assessments. The tutor will assess the student’s progress, provide constructive and personalised feedback, and adapt lesson delivery to the student’s individual needs and areas for development.
Qualifications / Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is required for this specific role
- Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Religious Studies
- Ability to plan and deliver effective exam-focused lessons
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive, personalised feedback
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proven teaching, lesson planning, and course preparation skills are highly desirable
- Experience preparing students for GCSE exams is highly desirable
