About the role:
As a Technical Consultant at Sword, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions which allow us to develop and maintain our position as trusted technology partners to our customers.
As the pre-eminent provider of technology and data solutions within the UK Energy sector, we\’re delighted to present opportunities for specialists who are keen to develop into a Consultancy role, with technical expertise in one of the following domains:
- Data and Information Management
- ERP Systems & Applications
- Modern Workplace & End User Computing
- Networks
- Telephony
- Cybersecurity
- Operational Technology

- Provide expert consultancy in your area of specialisation.
- Design and implement tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams.
- Engage in technical pre-sales activities alongside sale and account management colleagues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a subject matter expert in one of the areas listed above.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant certifications in your area of expertise are advantageous.
