As the OT Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and assuring solutions across operational technology platforms within a regulated environment. Working at the intersection of real-time operational systems and enterprise IT, you will help ensure solutions are resilient, performant and aligned to both operational and architectural standards.
Experience with PowerOn ADMS is considered a strong advantage, however this role is equally suited to architects with broader ADMS, SCADA or real-time OT platform experience.
As the OT Solutions Architect, you will:
- Shape and own solution designs across operational technology platforms, from early options through to delivery
- Produce clear, fit-for-purpose architecture artefacts to support delivery and technical governance
- Provide informed advice on constraints, dependencies, performance, resilience and other non-functional requirements
- Ensure effective alignment between operational technology platforms and wider IT architecture
- Work closely with delivery teams, stakeholders and suppliers to explain architectural decisions and trade-offs
- Assess feasibility, risks and impacts quickly and accurately within a fast-moving delivery environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within operational technology environments
- Hands-on experience with ADMS, SCADA or other real-time operational systems
- Strong understanding of how operational platforms integrate with enterprise IT landscapes
- Confidence producing architecture artefacts and contributing to design assurance and governance
- Experience operating within regulated industries, such as energy, utilities or critical national infrastructure
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Analytical capability to assess solution options and trade-offs pragmatically
