We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to assist our client in implementing various cybersecurity solutions at their locations. The role involves defining a secure gold build for Windows servers—both physical and virtual—overseeing the server build process, and helping to manage the deployment of these servers across all sites. The Lead Engineer will oversee the planning of infrastructure deployment components for projects within data centers, collaborating closely with Value Stream and Delivery Leads. They will create comprehensive and straightforward roadmaps for the infrastructure aspects of the program, taking ownership of identifying project interdependencies. A strong knowledge of modern virtualisation solutions, including the associated hardware platforms, is essential. Additionally, they will be expected to provide insights on a broad range of infrastructure and platform technologies, with a focus on emerging Cloud Technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan technical elements of deployment plan
- Supply best practice advice on deployment of Infrastructure components within projects
- Liaise with central technical authorities to verify delivery
- Work in conjunction with Site teams to deploy Infrastructure
- Testing and implementing new systems and infrastructure
- Stakeholder engagement and coordination of onsite teams
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
